Cute Spring Bookmark DIY

Since I recently started talking about my reading journey on here, I wanted to share a little bookmark DIY with you. These bookmarks make super cute Easter presents and can also be used year-round. I think they are super cute!

All you need is:

  • Piece of paper, 10×10 cm
  • Some small paper pieces
  • Scissors
  • Pencil, Sharpie (Edding)
  • Glue
Step 1: Prepare your material.
Step 2: Fold a triangle.
Step 3: Fold up both corners to the middle. Then fold them back down. We need the lines they created to go on.
Step 4: Now fold down the front tip of the triangle.
Step 5: Fold the right and left corners into the fold you created by folding down the middle piece. They should create a small pocket.
Step 6: Almost done! This is your completed body/face of your bookmark. Now let’s decorate it.
Step 7: Glue the nose on your bookmark and draw whiskers and eyes with your sharpie. The cut out some rabbit teeth and ears and glue those on as well.
You’re done! Now you can use your new bookmark for the book you’re currently reading! 🐰💕

If the folding process was a bit hard to see with the cream-coloured paper, I also made a bookmark with patterned paper so I’ll leave those pics below for you to take a second look!

What do you think? Do you like the bookmarks? Let me know in the comments if you make them and tag me on instagram so I can see your creations! Happy DIY-ing 🐰

Love, Stefanie 💕🐰
